CHATS is a community engagement initiative that allows residents to host a guided conversation about how housing challenges affect all of us and what we can do about it. A carefully designed toolkit is provided to hosts to easily and confidently facilitate a CHATS with friends and neighbors.
Any resident can sign up to host a CHATS with friends and neighbors. Groundwork will send hosts a free toolkit with everything needed to confidently host a conversation, including a script to follow. Using our Impact Cards and Solution Cards, attendees collectively explore how housing issues affect different groups and how we can work together to create solutions.
Whether you're concerned about rising rent, curious about zoning, or simply want to help shape the future of your neighborhood, hosting a CHATS is an easy and meaningful way to get involved. By opening your home, reserving a table, or gathering a few neighbors for a CHATS, you’re helping grow the movement for better housing options and more inclusive communities in Arkansas.
